Segun Omidele

Mr Omidele holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston, USA. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of
Harvard Business School. In addition, he is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He is the President of Polaseo Group LLC, Houston, USA. He has over 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. A seasoned Reservoir Engineer, he worked for 29 years with Shell in Nigeria, UK, and USA in several technical and management positions. He left the services of Shell E & P, Africa as Resource Volume Manager for Africa in 2008.

Mr Omidele has highly diverse experience in all aspects of the oil and gas industry and has served in various senior positions with engineering, financial and operational responsibilities. He was previously at Erin Energy Corporation, Houston where he rose from Senior Vice President for Business Development and New Ventures to Chief Executive Officer. He also served as the Managing Director and later Senior Vice President for Exploration and Production for Allied Energy Corporation, Houston.
