Mrs Olaghere graduated with an upper second-class degree in French from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has taken classes at prestigious universities like Harvard Business School, INSEAD, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, London Business School, and
Lagos Business School. She speaks and facilitates at trainings, workshops, seminars, and conferences on women’s  economic empowerment, career development, and education for girls. Mrs Olaghere has over 32 years of experience in Bank Operations, Consumer and
Commercial Banking, Information Technology and General Administration. She is renowned for her impeccable analytical skills, astute leadership qualities, and the successful implementation of organisational strategies and achievement of goals. She is a Fellow of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) – an ICAN 1988 Prize Winner and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

She started her career in 1985 at Tropical Farming magazine. She later worked at the Embassy of Guinea for a short time in 1986, then joined Coopers and Lybrand & Associates (now PwC) in 1990. In 2007, she departed Ecobank Nigeria as the Deputy General Manager. She retired from Access Bank in 2018 as the Executive Director, Operations, and Information Technology. She is currently the Managing Consultant at Rickela Consultants Ltd and has held leadership roles in a number of companies. These include Non-Executive Director at WAPIC Insurance, Access Bank Cote d’Ivoire, Intercontinental Properties, Intercontinental Homes and Secretary to the Governing Council, Bank Directors Association of Nigeria.
