Prior to setting up First Ally Capital Limited, Mr. Olufowose was an Executive Director at Access Bank Plc. Before this, he was Director with Citigroup, leading Citigroup’s origination, structuring and execution of corporate finance deals in Nigeria.
He was actively involved in the Federal Government Privatisation programme as well as various capital raise for multinationals and played key roles in the structuring and execution of several capital market transactions, including the UAC of Nigeria Scheme of Arrangement, the Listing by Introduction of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1996, the Access Bank IPO in the Nigerian and international markets with global depository receipt (GDR) component.
Mr. Olufowose holds a first-class honours Economics degree from the University of Lagos (the best overall graduating student in the Department and the Faculty of Social Sciences). He also holds an MA Degree in International Economics from the University of Sussex, Brighton, England where he studied as a Sir Adam Thompson Scholar.
He is a fellow of the Association of Investment Advisers & Portfolio Managers.
